Congrats to you, your hair looks beautiful! I’m on this journey too! Last year I made it 9 months then caved and got highlights which I regretted instantly. I’m committed to seeing it through this time. It’s been 6 months since the highlights so I’ve got a ways to go, but stories like yours are inspiring me 😊

So glad I found these videos. In the process of growing mine out. My hairdresser said you can’t dye your hair that ash dark blonde/light brown as it turns green. So it’s not something you can get in a bottle. I agree about the mousy comment. Just another thing that makes women think they need to change their appearance.

I’m growing out my highlights. It’s been 2 years and three months and my natural is down to below my ears. It’s takes a long ass time to get your beautiful hair back. I can’t wait to cut off my bleach ends - I have six inches of bleach I want to cut off. Need to wait another year. Can’t wait!

It brings out your eye color so much more than the blonde! I’m growing mine out and I think it’s white and your hair color mixed so we will see!

Slow grower over here too. Mine is where yours is. I've decided to grow the bleach out completely even though I do like the blonde highlights. My natural hair color looks about the same as yours. I think your natural color looks good on you. I know the blah feeling though. I get that way too.

I'm 8 month mark and been thinking what to do, growing or coloring. My natural color is same as yours and never have i ever grow it out. I was 9 when i started coloring the hair and i was natural blonde but now its lot darker. This definitely inspired me to keep going and enjoy my natural hair.

That colour is great like few other natural hair colours. On top of that, it's a part of you and not lit liking a part of you is not an acceptable proposition. So enjoy and keep smiling.

Your hair is gorgeous! I started colouring my hair blond at 14. I'm now 55. That's 40 years! I'm 12 months dye free. My hair is the same colour as yours. I was blond as a child then it got darker and darker. Mousie brown, is the colour I have too. I have a few gray hairs but I want to go all natural and actually live in my natural colour before it is gone. I still half half blond hair past my shoulders. I haven't cut it off yet.

I half did this but ruined my progress twice now. My coloe is very similar to yours but I used to dye it dark. Then, missing my childhood platinum I lightened it and every time I deep down regretted it. I find roots ugly tbh hence my own 2-4 weeks box dying. Natural just looks and feels so good and it doesn't come in a box! I totally resonated with everything you said here. I wish everyone would enjoy their natural color more. Love your waves!

I just bought a curling iron for Christmas but My regrowth is just past my ears. I'm halfway there. So I feel like I'm in the awkward stage where it's starting to look good. But I still have color in my hair. And I definitely don't wanna cut it out.
